Mercedes-Benz Service A

Mercedes-Benz Service A is for Mercedes-Benz model years 2009 and newer. Service A should be scheduled around 10,000 miles or 1 year – whichever comes first. Service A should be repeated at this interval. Consult your vehicle’s Flexible Service System or a certified Mercedes-Benz technician for specifics for your model.

Service A includes:

  • Synthetic motor oil replacement
  • All fluid level checks and corrections dependent on factory-recommended service intervals for your vehicle’s year and model.
  • Genuine Mercedes-Benz Fleece Oil Filter replacement
  • Brake component inspection
  • Tire inflation check and correction
  • Reset maintenance counter

Mercedes-Benz Service B

Mercedes-Benz Service B is also for Mercedes-Benz models from 2009 and onward. This service comes at around 2 years or 20,000 miles, your time will vary based on your Stockton area commute and driving style. The prompts from the Flexible Service System will assist you in getting your vehicle in for maintenance on time.

Service B includes:

  • Synthetic motor oil replacement
  • All fluid level checks and corrections dependent on factory-recommended service intervals for your vehicle’s year and model.
  • Genuine Mercedes-Benz Fleece Oil Filter replacement
  • Brake inspection
  • Tire inflation check and correction

What Do Mercedes-Benz Service A and Service B Cost?

The cost of Mercedes-Benz Service A and Service B** varies depending on the model and year of your vehicle. Generally, however, Mercedes-Benz Service A costs from $210 to $315, including labor and parts. Mercedes-Benz Service B costs between $380 to more than $700, depending on what labor and parts are needed. Mercedes-Benz A7 and B4 Service

If you drive an older Mercedes0Benz model, your owner’s manual may direct you to schedule Mercedes-Benz A7 service, B4 service, or another combination of A/B and a number 0 – 9.  These service codes were previously implemented on older Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Your car will continue to require Services A and B at the intervals we outlined above, but the number indicates service items that are required in addition to Service A or B.

What is Mercedes-Benz B4 service meant to include? As you can see from the full list of letter/number combinations below, B4 service adds air filter replacement, spark plug service, and sunroof cleaning, and lubrication to Service B:

  • Mercedes-Benz A0 Service / Mercedes-Benz B0 Service – Add on sunroof cleaning and lubrication (if applicable) and spark plug service for select models
  • Mercedes-Benz A1 Service / Mercedes-Benz B1 Service – Add on brake fluid replacement
  • Mercedes-Benz A2 Service / Mercedes-Benz B2 Service – Add on brake fluid replacement and sunroof cleaning and lubrication
  • Mercedes-Benz A3 Service / Mercedes-Benz B3 Service – Add on air filter replacement and spark plug service
  • Mercedes-Benz A4 Service / Mercedes-Benz B4 Service – Add on air filter replacement, spark plug service, and sunroof cleaning and lubrication
